WAKE-UP CALL: France snapped USWNT’s 29-game unbeaten streak
The US Women’s team will be looking to rebound and regroup after their 3-1 loss to France last Saturday in front of 20,000+ French fans. Although key American players were not available due to injury or illness, the loss to France put a spotlight on a possible lack of depth in the USWNT roster. Depth will be needed to survive the gauntlet of the FIFA Women’s World Cup group stage and knock-out rounds. This may prove to be exactly what the American players and coaching staff needed as they begin their quest for a fourth World Cup title.
