UPSL Announces FC Strikers South Coast as New Member for 2015

The United Premier Soccer League today announced its newest member to the UPSL Southeast Conference, FC Strikers South Coast. FC Strikers South Coast have been one of the top clubs in Southern California for the past decade and have now expanded their program to reflect the growing interest from their own players to continue to wear the FC Strikers badge once their youth club years are complete. FC Strikers currently boast over 20 youth teams under their umbrella which includes 500 youth players in a competitive stage of youth soccer to now compliment if Men’s Pro Development squad.

Strikers President Marissa Pena said, “We are very excited to become a member of the UPSL. We know the UPSL has become the top Pro Development league in Southern California.  We are excited to expand our soccer program to the Men’s Pro Development side as we have put together a committed team both on and off the field to compete with UPSL competitive standards.  We are based in the city of Huntington Beach  and we look forward to our local youth players of tomorrow aspiring to play in our new top flight team.”

The UPSL now consists of three conferences spanning across Southern and Central California; which include Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County, Santa Clarita Valley, Kern County and the Inland Empire.

The UPSL was formed in 2011. The UPSL currently operates 36 plus teams all based in Southern California with 50 plus teams targeted for 2015/16 Winter campaign. With the addition of new clubs, the United Premier Soccer League is Southern California’s fastest growing Pro Development League. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining UPSL minimum standards.
