Albion SC PROS sit comfortably in the race for playoff contention in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) Southwest Conference. Currently in 4th place with 22 points, the PROS will once again be at home this Saturday welcoming Temecula FC, who currently sit just beneath Albion in the 5th spot with 17 points.

Temecula were at home this past Saturday were they ended their match versus Oxnard Guerreros FC with a 2-1 victory.

The PROS were dealt a difficult matchup last Saturday as they had current undefeated league leaders Arizona FC come into Mission Bay Stadium. The PROS have already taken down an undefeated side at home this season. Just a few short weeks ago, Riverside Coras were dethroned and stripped from their undefeated season taking home a 3-0 loss to an inspired Albion squad who had a near perfect night in Pacific Beach.

Albion took control of their match with Arizona from the start but was met with a disciplined Arizona side that maintained its back line that kept the PROS attack at bay for 79 minutes. In the 80th, NPSL leading striker Amani Walker got the tying goal off a lovely assist from Michael Turner ending the match in a draw after 90 plus.

The previous encounter between Albion and Temecula FC during week six at Linfield Stadium in Temecula came at a time while the PROS were suffering from a tough string of away matches. The lone strike came from the Quail’s Ryan Brent in the first half, that solo strike would prove to be enough to keep the three points at home for TFC.

Albion will have another excellent opportunity to further distance themselves from the second half of the table while still making up ground from the 4th spot. Sitting in 3rd is OCFC with 26 points, who the PROS will face in week 14.

Mission Bay Stadium has been a fortress for Albion this year. Having only lost one match in six at home, the PROS are always keen to welcome anyone in Pacific Beach.

Albion SC PROS play host to Temecula FC this Saturday at Mission Bay Stadium.

Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM and tickets can be found at albionscpros.com.
