Due to overwhelming interest, USL San Diego’s “listening session” on Thursday August 8 reached full capacity.

Leadership at USL San Diego has been keen to involve a wide variety of San Diego soccer fandom in the creation of USL San Diego’s identity. Small focus groups have been held over the past few months, and the club decided to expand to larger “listening sessions.” Each listening session is tailored to a specific subset of the local soccer community.

USL San Diego recently announced a community “Listening Session” for local soccer fans. RSVPs were accepted via online form, and the event at a Miramar-area restaurant quickly reached full capacity.

Leadership and staff at USL San Diego have decided to live-stream the event on the club’s Facebook page. Anyone interested can tune in at 6:30pm on Thursday August 8th. CLICK HERE for the USL San Diego Facebook page.

Listening Session just for Soccer Families

More “Listening Sessions” have also been added. A session specific to soccer families has been added on Friday August 9th. RSVPs are still open at the time of this article’s publishing. CLICK HERE. The event will be held at a Carmel Valley restaurant at 5:30pm on Friday, August 9th.

Because the August 8th session reached full capacity so quickly, interested soccer parents are encouraged to sign up as early as possible.

If you can’t attend a Listening Session, you can still let USL San Diego know what you want to see in the club:
