US Soccer released a new crest today with the help of several notable names from around the nation. Several people including USMNT players Geoff Cameron and Deandre Yedlin, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, ESPN Analyst Taylor Twellman, and many others took to social media to share the contents of the parcel sent to them by US Soccer.

The iconic shield in this new design features seven red and six white stripes below “USA” in dark blue, and breaks away from the much maligned soccer ball and stars that have been a staple of the crest that has been in circulation since 1995.
