In the aftermath of the American Music Awards, I felt it was necessary to give credit to one of the greatest groups our generation has ever seen. Coldplay, the British rock band that has again produced another smashing single. ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’ is upbeat, fun, and catchy. It’s the perfect addition to the beautiful game. I may have gone a little overboard with the Coldplay respect by adding singles from their previous albums, but ‘Charlie Brown’ was the theme song to the 2012 Euros, and ‘Lovers in Japan’ is just an excellent tune. After the Coldplay fix, the playlist continues with artists such as Caribou and Treasure Fingers. Mat Zo closes out this week with one of my personal favorites. Produced by The Knocks, ‘Get Down 2 Get Up’ is a party, simply put. There is just something about these songs that can help you to get in the perfect mood to play, or watch soccer. You will find that after you listen to a song on numerous occasions, you start relating that song to the event. So, every time I hear Coldplay’s ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’, it will make me think about this sport and what was happening when I was listening to it. It’s amazing. One of my friends said listening to these songs with earphones can really help you to immerse yourself in your playlist. Because of this, she recommended that I have a look for some wireless earphones, like the enacfire future plus, so that I can focus solely on the words and the tune of the song more effectively and to block out the noise around me. It’s not a bad idea. I would try anything to help me to connect with my songs better. You should try it too, but with your songs of choice. So get some touches in before the holiday, and have a very Happy Thanksgiving. Stay tuned for next week!
