The 2017 FIFA U-20 Men’s World Cup is less than four months away and U-20 Men’s National Team head coach Tab Ramos has named a 24-player roster for an 11-day training camp that will determine the 20 players who will travel to San Jose, Costa Rica for the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.

Among the 24 players traveling to the camp in Orlando that will be held from January 31-February 10 are seven California natives that include goalkeepers Jonathan Klinsmann (University of California; Newport Beach), JT Marcinkowski (Georgetown; Alamo), Brady Scott (De Anza Force; Petaluma), defender Hugo Arellano (LA Galaxy; Norwalk), midfielders Jonathan Gonzalez (CF Monterrey; Santa Rosa) and Jonathan Suarez (Queretaro F.C.; Orange County), and forward Brandon Vazquez (Atlanta United FC; Chula Vista)

The World Cup Qualifying Tournament is schedule to run from February 17 – March 5. The U.S. is in Group B and will face Panama on February 18, Haiti on February 21, and Saint Kitts and Nevis on February 24. The top two teams from each group will then be regrouped in a classification stage with three teams per group. The top two teams per group in this stage with automatically advance to the 2017 U-20 World Cup.
