Ashley Cole’s contract has been officially terminated by Roma on Tuesday, and reports link the former Arsenal and Chelsea defender to the LA Galaxy.
Cole has yet to appear in a match for Roma this year after joining the club in 2014. Cole is now a free agent and any club can sign him without paying a transfer due to his contract being terminated.
If Cole joins the LA Galaxy, he will be the third England national team player to join the LA Galaxy after David Beckham and Steven Gerrard, who is currently on the roster.
Cole appeared in a combined 385 Premier League games and has two Premier League titles and three FA Cup wins to his name. He has also been capped 107 times by England.
