LA Premier FC is a sporting organization with a unique and distinguished focus geared towards leading and guiding young people of all races and economic situations to the destination of a brighter future and a better life.

The club promotes a focus on athletic competition, in this case, the sport of soccer, as the platform to accomplish their youth development goals.

The vision is to provide professional and collegiate opportunities for players and to make a positive impact on players’ lives.

Based in La Canada Flintridge, which is a stone’s throw away from Pasadena, LA Premier FC a very close-knit community that has one of the best school districts in the country and produces college-bound athletes in multiple sports on a consistent basis from the Public La Canada High school to the private high schools, Prep, St. Francis and FSHA.

“Collaboration and accessibility to coach education at all levels of the game is critical. Being able to share ideas with your peers is a lost art in this game here in this country. Very few people are comfortable sharing their content and experiences. I am a believer of sharing of ideas, coaching documents, curriculums, promoting discussions to make sure that the game continues to evolve.

I have seen the changes within the US Soccer Coaching Education department. I trust that the leaders have the educational background to improve the coach education in this country but my reservation is the difficulty of being able to afford that education and being able to cement places on these courses at all levels, grassroots to the Pro license.

Lastly, I believe we need to embrace technology. Around the world it’s becoming the norm to have technology aid sessions, recovery, analyze games and even create structures for staff communication. Even at the youth level, change is needed to keep players healthy and to optimize their development.” – Executive Director Barry Ritson

With that mentality, it is no wonder that LA Premier has risen to the heights that it has. Boasting U.S. Soccer Development Academy status on both girls and boys sides, the club also includes programs in volleyball, and maintains an excellent record of alumni playing collegiately across the country.

With a mission to positively impact the lives of young people, using soccer as a platform to reach out to these children and aid them not only in their development on the field but also off it, at home, in the classroom and in the playground, LA Premier is truly a club that is devoted to development.
