For the first time, the International Champions Cup includes a GIRLS Competition for top U15 teams from around the world.

With Women’s soccer on the rise globally, the International Champions Cup has added a Girls Division for the first time. Top GU15 teams from Europe will face off against ECNL teams from across America.

International Champions Cup: Dec 11-15 at IMG Academy in Florida

The tournament field includes Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as the four European club academies.

The four ECNL teams include Concorde Fire Platinum of Georgia, Heat FC of Nevada, LAFC Slammers from California, and PDA Blue of New Jersey. These teams were selected based on their performances in the ECNL in the 2018-2019 season. Additionally, four regional “All Star” teams made up of top ECNL players will compete in this world-class event.

Women’s Soccer on the Rise Globally

ECNL players everywhere celebrated as the incredible US team won the 2019 Women’s World Cup. 2020 is an Olympic year. Now more than ever, Women’s Soccer is a global game. The talented young women of the ECNL will have their opportunity to walk in the shoes of legends as they compete in their own international club tournament.

The tournament perfectly aligns with our mission to build leaders in this game.”

“This is the first international club competition of this caliber for youth female soccer players in the United States, creating an incredible opportunity for our teams to compete against a lineup of the world’s best-known clubs,” said Christian Lavers, President of the ECNL. “The competition will feature some of the best youth players in the world, and the experience will be both invaluable and unforgettable. We are honored to share this moment with these teams, clubs, and the ICC as we look to continue to lead the game forward with exciting new opportunities and programs.”
