We wanted to congratulate one of our very own ’94 Boys Dylan Hartman who has just received some very exciting news. After graduating from Desert Elite, Dylan went on to play for Lake Forest College in Illinois where he won the Midwest Conference Championship alongside his brother, Jordan, who also graduated from the Desert Elite ’92 Boys program and both managed to score in the final. It gets better for Dylan who has been selected to play on the United States Jewish futsal team for the Pan-American games in Chile next winter! He will be playing against countries such as Argentina, Brazil, England and Israel. His former coach of 8 years, Noel Clarkson said “I knew Dylan could be a great player and encouraged him to reach for the skies. He always workedhard in practice but did not stop there, he fine-tuned many of his skills on his own after learning them in practice and it is this dedication that has led him to this fantastic opportunity. I just hope his ego will still fit in Arizona when he gets back!!!” The Pan-American Games come at a cost, Dylan needs to raise money in order to get there so if anyone would like to contribute, no matter how little, Dylan would really appreciate it.
