Today is the day! One of our premier partners, Coronado SC, has opened their Fall recreational soccer registration. Cornado SC has been in the San Diego community for over 40 years! CYSL provides soccer programs for over 900 players per year, 600 of these players are involved in the recreational soccer program.
About the CYSL Recreational Soccer Program: Girls and boys ages 4 to 14 are eligible to participate in the Rec Soccer Program. The CYSL Recreational Soccer program gives all children a chance to play and have fun while improving their soccer skills without the pressure or time commitment of a competitive league. CYSL also provides an opportunity for many players to participate in an All-Star recreational tournament outside Coronado at season end. “The mission for the Coronado Youth Soccer League Recreational Program is to provide the youth of Coronado and surrounding communities with an affordable soccer program that encourages technical development, good sportsmanship, and an atmosphere for having a good time while learning.” Players are coached by CYSL coaching staff as well as volunteer parents who pass a Cal South Coaching Clinic and background check. These checks are vitally important to ensure that the youth soccer players will be safe throughout their time with the program. Background assessments, similar to those of sterling talent solutions and others, make sure that the volunteer adults are trusted people, with no previous convictions or offences. They help to keep everyone happy and performing at the best of their ability in the soccer league.
General Information:
- Registration opens today, July 1st!
- The deadline to register is August 21st, after this date a late fee of $35 will be assessed.
- Last day to register is August 28th, 2015.
- U12 Players must register by Friday July 24th! The U12 teams will begin practices prior to the other age groups. Please register EARLY if interested in this age group as CYSL will need 12 registered players by AUG 1, 2015 in order for me to register team (s) for the U12 league. U12 is non-co-ed.
- All games will be held at Tidelands Field, 2000 Mullinex Drive, Coronado, CA 92118.
- First game will be Saturday, September 12, 2015
- Last game will be Saturday, November 14, 2015
