Simon Brodkin or also known as his alter-ego, Lee Nelson, has a history of crashing major events for comedic relief.  Hate him or love him he has his moments…

This morning, during a Press Conference in FIFA Headquarters in Zuirich comedian Simon Brodkin managed to evade security and storm President Sepp Blatter.  The conference was held to discuss future leadership of the FIFA organization. Brodkin calmly approached Sepp Blatter, faced the press and stated, “This is for North Korea 2026.”  The money was a bribe to hold the 2026 World Cup in North Korea and a satirical jab at the corruption of the FIFA Organization that is still under investigation by the FBI. Brodkin was able to waltz up to the panel and throw $600 cash to shower over Blatter as security was taking him away.

Sepp Blatter instinctively got up from the scene and addresses the audience afterwards, “We have to clean here first, otherwise I will not be able to speak.”  Clearly upset Blatter says, “This has nothing to do with football.”

On the other hand, Brodkin was charged with trespassing and may have to return to Switzerland for a trial. Also, every penny of the $600 was returned to him, he said that he pulled the cash from his own account for the prank.
