With the Apertura kicking off last week, we take a look at the new Home and Away Kits for Club América’s 2015-2016 campaign.

Club América Home Kit

The home kit celebrates the 50th anniversary of the club’s 1965-1966 league championship, with the uniform referencing the kit worn during that season.

The jersey consists of a pale yellow base that includes a V-neck collar with red and navy blue details. The collar corresponds with the same color scheme on the cuffs of the sleeves, with the jersey also including a navy blue stripe along the sides of the shirt.

The Nike logo and club emblem appear in navy blue on the chests of the shirt, with the socks and shorts including a matching yellow color to the complete the kit that will be worn at Estadio Azteca.

Club América Away Kit

The away kit to complete the Mexican club’s new uniforms is one of class with a well-designed presentation.

The jersey sees the transition from light blue at the top of the jersey to a darker shade of blue towards the hem of the shirt. The shirt includes a yellow band around the sleeves of the shirt along with a yellow stripe down the sides of the jersey. A yellow Nike logo and club emblem is presented on the chests to complete this uniform.

This particular kit is designed to reference the youth academy of Club América and its reputation for nurturing youth talent at El Nido (The Nest).

These new kits include symbols of heritage and reputation for the most notable club in Liga MX history and will see its supporters cheer on their club in style during its upcoming campaign.

After finishing second in Clausura, Club Amérca will seek to add to its list of trophies and remain at the top of Liga MX.
