The U.S. Women’s National Team continues to look impressive in their first post-World Cup match.

On Sunday in Pittsburg, in front of a record-breaking crow f over 44,000 attendees, California native Christen Press looked amazing, scoring a hat trick against Costa Rica in the 8-0 win.

The opening goal came with only 4 minutes on the clock when Heather O’Reilly took advantage of a mistake from the Ticas in the defense. Press scored her first of the game in the 29th minute, as the first shot was blocked but the second went in, and Julie Johnston scored the 36th minute. Then Press scored her second goal before half time sending the U.S. to the break with a 4-0 lead.

Meghan Klingenberg, who is actually from Pennsylvania scored the fifth goal of the U.S. at 56 minutes, after receiving a pass from Tobin Heath. She celebrated her goal by waving Pittsburg signature Terrible Tower. This was her third international career goal.

O’Reilley scored her second goal after the ball bounce from Press’ shot. Abby Wambach scored the seventh goal of the math in the 63rd minute with an assist from California native Whitney Engen.

Five minutes after, Press completed her hat trick after receiving a pass from O’Reilly. This was the second hat trick of Press’ career with the USWNT. Her first one happened back in December of 2014 when she sored 4 goals against Argentina.

On Wednesday, the USWNT plays again against Costa Rica due to take place in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Then in September, they have another pair of friendlies against Australia.
