California’s top teams are finishing up their regular season schedules with some moving on to conference tournament play. Below is a preview of some of the final matches of the season for these teams.

#4 Stanford Men: Record: 13(W)-2(L)-2(D)
Stanford is off this weekend and will play host to #24 California in Stanford’s final regular season match on Thursday. Stanford has a commanding lead on the Pac-12 regular season title and should win it barring a crazy finish for Washington who would have to win each of its last three matches to threaten Stanford. All three of Washington’s matches will have been completed by Thursday evening, allowing Stanford the opportunity to know where it stands before they enter the match against California, which can be viewed on Pac-12 Networks at 6 p.m.

#19 UCLA Men: Record: 8-7-1
The Bruins play host Oregon State and Washington this weekend in the final homestand of the season for UCLA. Midfielder Jose Hernandez is one goal away from snagging the all-time record for goals scored by a freshman in a single season with 12. UCLA is currently fourth in the Pac-12. UCLA plays Oregon State on Friday at 2 p.m. and Washington on Sunday at 5 p.m. Sunday’s match will be aired on Pac-12 Networks.

#23 Cal Poly Men: Record: 10-3-5
Cal Poly has finished its regular season and is on to the Big West Tournament after missing out last year. The Mustangs will host UC Irvine on Saturday at noon in the opening round of the Big West Conference Tournament. A victory would be historic since Cal Poly has never progressed past the opening round of any Big West Tournament. But with the Mustangs having a record-setting season and finishing second in the North Division standings, they certainly could be changing that pattern. You can follow play-by-play of Saturday’s match on GoPoly.com.

#3 Stanford Women: Record: 16-2-0
Pac-12 champion Stanford has one last regular season match against #20 California Friday night in front of a sold out crowd. The conference title is already secured for the Cardinal, but a victory against California will make for a perfect, 11-0 conference season to top the cake. Friday will be senior night and four players from the roster will be honored. Friday’s match will be aired on Pac-12 Networks.

#14 Southern California Women: Record: 13-5-1
USC finishes up its regular season against UCLA (8-9-1) on Friday night. The Trojans have secured second-place in the Pac-12, their best finish since their national title in 2007. USC holds a 5-22-1 all-time record against the Bruins and lost to them 2-0 earlier this season. The 6 p.m. match can be viewed on Pac-12 Network.

#15 Santa Clara Women: Record: 12-5-2
The Broncos finish their regular season om Saturday at Gonzaga. Santa Clara was unable to snag the West Coast Conference title, but this weekend will be important for NCAA tournament seeding. They are #20 in the RPI rankings, behind fellow WCC team #19 BYU. Junior Julie Vass leads the team with six goals and 13 points.
