Local rivalry renews with SDSU vs USD Friday Aug 30

Your chance to see great soccer, a great rivalry, and future pros is coming up soon. On Friday night, Aug 30th, SDSU Men’s Soccer is hosting USD in a cross-down D1 matchup at the SDSU Sportsdeck.

Landon Donovan is the man in charge of player recruitment for USL San Diego. He told me specifically that he wants to pull players from local talent pools like SDSU, USD, and UCSD. So, when you come to the game on August 30th, you’ll quite likely be watching our future hometown pro players.

Free admission!

All SDSU soccer home games are free to attend! If you park under the Sportdeck in the SDSU parking structure, you’ll have to pay for parking, but there is also street parking around the area.

Fan giveaway!

The first 500 fans in attendance will also get a light-up bracelet to “Light Up the Night” for SDSU. The match will be a big production with giveaways at the gate, a bounce house for the kids, cheerleaders, drumline, photo booth, and MORE!

Rivalry time

If you love rivalry games like I do, this is the game to attend. The SDSU student section is always rowdy, and USD is sure to bring along the “Bullpit” to provide their team some energetic support.

See you there!
