14 California natives named to U-15 Boys’ National Team camp

U.S. Soccer National Team Update: U-17 MNT, U-15 MNT, and U-18 WNT

The U.S. U-15 Boy’s National Team will convene for a week-long camp at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida from November 1-8. Head coach John Hackworth has called in 60 players. Included in that number is 14 California natives who have been named to the roster.

The California players who have been named to the roster:

GOALKEEPERS (1): Mason Finnell (Sacramento Republic FC; Folsom)
DEFENDERS (5): Jake Arteaga (LA Galaxy, Glendora), Kelee Cornfield-Saunders (LA Galaxy; San Marcos), Jonathan Estrada (LA Galaxy; Santa Ana), Ian Murphy (FC Golden State; Redlands), Bryan Perez (LA Premier FC; Los Angeles)
MIDFIELDERS (4): Carlos Anguiano Diaz (LA Galaxy;Los Angeles), Jean-Julien Foe Nuphaus (San Jose Earthquakes; San Jose), Alex Mendez (LA Galaxy; Los Angeles), Arturo Vasquez (FC Golden State; Mira Loma)
FORWARDS (4): Misa Becerra (LA Galaxy; East Los Angeles), Niccolo Lemoine (De Anza Force; Livermore), Kevin Negrete (LA Galaxy; Hawthorne), Tristan Weber (LA Galaxy; San Clemente)

This is the final camp before players born in 2000 are invited by U.S. Soccer to attend the U.S. U-17 Residency Program in Bradenton. The team will play intrasquad games on Nov. 3, 5 and 7.
