Youth Soccer News: US Club Soccer Partners with KYCK.com to Help Foster Growth of the Sport through the Use of Digital Technology
Launch of new “Teams” feature will enhance youth club development, communications and logistics
US Club Soccer has partnered with KYCK.com, a digital media startup providing a personalized soccer experience through discovery, curation and sharing of highly relevant soccer content, to help foster growth of the sport at the youth level through online communities and content sharing.
To accomplish this, KYCK is enhancing its soccer social platform by launching a new “Teams” feature. The new feature allows coaches and managers to improve communications with players and parents by organizing information in an easily accessible and consistent way.
Once a team page is made, coaches and managers can build their rosters, create private message threads related to team logistics such as travel and schedules, and even share photo and video highlights of the team’s season to the broader KYCK community, which is made up of soccer fans and supporters worldwide.
“In today’s digital world, our mission to improve the level of play within the sport means embracing the latest technologies,” said Bill Sage, Executive Director of US Club Soccer. “That makes KYCK a natural fit for us as we seek out platforms that can save our clubs time and money and give our players access to the best information available. KYCK’s new ‘Teams’ toolset accomplishes that and contains a host of other features applicable to our membership base on a platform that is fun and free.”
“Using technology to solve problems for youth teams and clubs has been a part of our vision since KYCK’s inception and we’re excited to partner with US Club Soccer to push the sport into the future,” said Mac Lackey, CEO and Founder of KYCK. “Our platform provides powerful, free tools for coaches, parents, and players to enhance team development and individual player growth through an immersive social experience.”
