San Diego Youth Soccer News: Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks Soccer BU11 Champions

The Del Mar Sharks BU11 Gold team who won the Canyon PSA Winter Cup Championship in Anaheim this past weekend.

The other teams participating in the BU11 bracket were CANYON PSA BU11, AVFC BU11, BEACH FC, BAKERSFIELD GUNNERS,HEMET JUVENTUS F.C., FREEDOM FC BU11 GREEN and the B99 CELTIC HOOPS.

Coach Goran Nastic says, "The boys played great soccer in the final and deserved the win. All my players played really well."

The Sharks first game was a 9-0 win against Hemet Juventus F.C. The second win was 2-0 against Celtics Hoops. The third win was 4-0 against Freedom F.C. The final match played was another shut out at 2-0 against Canyon PSA.

Eddie Carrillo, Tournament Director, Canyon PSA (Panther Soccer Academy) Club Director, was pleased to host this Winter Soccer Tournament for Boys and Girls Under 9 thru Under 14.

Coach Nastic says, "Great job to the defense, they did not concede a goal the entire tournament!"
