It was exciting for the girls because Coach Jen Lalor-Nielsen had been out of town all weekend with the WPSL's San Diego SeaLions but made it back in time to coach the girls on Monday and lead them to victory!

Coach Jen Lal-Nielsen said, "I am so proud of this team for their commitment to practices and for dedicating extra hours of work each week. They are a fun team to work with and I love to watch them perform skills/moves when they play. They had a great tournament and played extremely well in all the games."

Coach Jen continued, "It was also very special for this team to become tournament champions because we are a new club and it was our first tournament we won together as SDFA."
