San Diego is a top destination for soccer of all levels, and SoccerNation is proud to present the new San Diego Soccer Calendar, highlighting events around the county. While some of the tournaments listed below may have passed the entry deadline, there is no deadline to watch and enjoy great soccer.
Note that some tournaments use 2011-2012 ages and others use 2012-2013 ages, so check before registering.

Nomads Coaches Showcase
Boys: March 24-26, 2012 Girls: March 31-April 2, 2012
Nomads Coaches Showcase is a Cal South sanctioned tournament for U12-U19 teams. The tournament takes place in and around La Jolla, including on the campus of UC San Diego. Pepperdine University and Cal State Fullerton will play an exhibition match on March 31 at UCSD and goalkeepers can sign up for the Coaches Showcase Goalie Wars.
Elite Clubs National League Showcase Event
March 31-April 2, 2012
The Elite Clubs National League consist of the nation’s top 66 female soccer clubs who play in league competition through “showcase” tournaments held across the country. San Diego is proud to secure one of the showcase events to be held at the San Diego Polo Fields. Plans are in place for this to be an annual sports event for our destination.

National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) Season
The 2012 NPSL season kicks off in April. More details to follow. San Diego will feature SD Flash and San Diego Boca FC in the West-Southern Conference.
Beach Soccer Jam
April 28-29, 2012
The fourth annual Beach Soccer Jam is a beach soccer tournament rolled in a Brazilian-themed entertainment weekend. Teams from U9 to adult and professional teams will compete for top spot in the sand. Brazilian dancers and music and capoiera demonstrations will complement the soccer.

Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Season
The 2012 WPSL season opens in May with the San Diego SeaLions. More details to follow
Coop Beach Soccer Championships
May 5-6, 2012
The 6th annual Coop Beach Soccer Championships take place on the sands of Oceanside. Billed as “The largest Beach Soccer Festival on the West Coast,” the tournament is open to U8-U19, Men’s, Women’s, Co-Ed, College and Pro teams. The series then moves to Long Beach on June 2-3.
2nd Annual Armed Service Appreciation Tournament

Sportsplex USA Santee’s 2nd Annual Armed Service Appreciation Tournament is an adult indoor soccer tournament that honors America’s active and non-active military. The day includes a noon ceremony honoring the armed services members.
Memorial Super Cup
May 26-27, 2012
Super Cup is a Memorial Day Weekend tournament presented by Jersey Mike’s and STS for teams from U8 through U19. Games take place around San Diego County.
Poway Country Shootout
May 26-27, 2012
The Poway Country Shootout for boys and girls U9B (U8) through U19 teams takes place over Memorial Day Weekend in the Poway and Rancho Bernardo areas.

The FC Sol Invitational takes place in San Marcos for boys and girls teams U9B-U14.
Manchester Cup
June 9-10, 2012
The Manchester Cup sponsored by CV Manchester Soccer Club takes place in the Carmel Valley/Del Mar area. It is a class I tournament open to U9 to U19 teams affiliated with US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, AYSO and FIFA.
Kickin’ It Challenge
June 23-24, 2012
The inaugural Kickin’ It Challenge, presented by Poway Vaqueros and the City of Escondido is a charity tournament supporting the San Diego Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The tournament is for teams U9B through U19 and will take place at Ryan Park in Escondido.
San Diego Pegasus Cup
June 23-25 and June 30-July 2, 2012
The 15th annual Pegasus Cup is a class I tournament for U8 through U19 teams affiliated with US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, Super Y-League, AYSO and FIFA. Games are played throughout San Diego.
2012 USASA National Veterans Cup
June 26 - July 1, 2012
The Veterans Cup tournament was established in 1998 by the United States Adult Soccer Association with the intention of providing high-level soccer to both men and women 30 years of age and older. The current Veterans Cup tournament is a 6-day event with an anticipated 75-100 adult soccer teams, comprising approximately 2,000 players, family members, and supporters. The event will held at Frances Ryan Park in Escondido.

The 6th annual Kick for a Cure Soccer Tournament and Festival raises funds to support children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. In addition to the tournament for teams U8/U9B-U19, the weekend features a family festival for all ages.

The 4th annual Kick for Hope Tournament benefits organizations working to improve life for children in Africa. Games take place around San Diego.
Nike Crusaders Cup

The Crusaders Soccer Club presents the annual Nike Crusaders Cup for US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, AYSO and FIFA affiliated teams ages U9B through U19.
Albion Cup National Soccer Showcase
July 21-23, 2012
The Albion Cup Showcase for U9B through U19 teams takes place at fields around San Diego, with headquarters at UCSD. Albion Cup is a “Stay and Play” tournament and traveling teams are required to use one of the partner hotels.
California State Games
July 21-22, 2012
The soccer component of the 2012 California State Games will take place at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, Salt Creek Recreation Center and Montevalle Recreation Center in Chula Vista. The competition is open to all teams U8 through U19.
National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) 2012 National Championship

The top teams in the NPSL compete for the 2012 National Championship, hosted by the San Diego Flash. More details to come.

One of San Diego’s premier soccer tournaments hosted by the Del Mar Sharks Soccer Club. This is a Class I Tournament open to USYSA, US Club Soccer, Super Y League, AYSO, and FIFA affiliated teams.
Crown City Classic - Olders

The annual Crown City Classic hosted by the Coronado Youth Soccer League is a Cal South-sanctioned tournament open to US Youth Soccer, FIFA and AYSO teams. All games are played in the City of Coronado within sight of the Pacific Ocean or San Diego Bay. The first weekend features U14-U19 teams.
