Pro Soccer Spotlight: CHIVAS USA

Chivas USA midfielder and San Diego native Sal Zizzo threw out the first pitch at the San Diego Padres game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at PETCO Park in San Diego. Zizzo, an All-CIF centerfielder at Patrick Henry High School in San Diego before choosing soccer in college, took part in the pregame festivities as both Chivas USA and the Padres prepare for next week’s ChivaClásico on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 8:00 p.m. at PETCO Park. “I have been a Padres fan since I was a little kid, so this is a dream come true for me,” said Zizzo.
