San Diego Youth Soccer: Rebels Soccer Club BU8
The BU8 team has been playing together since April. In this short time frame, coaches Rene Chavira and Adam Gonzalez have helped the young soccer players improve dramatically.

Rebels Soccer Club BU8 Team Roster: Daniela Chavira, Alyza Eckhardt, Moises Bayliss, Hector Molina, Leo Cruz, Miguel Curbello, Angel Jaimes, Luis Enrique Lee, Gael Quintero, and Sahid Curi-Rueda. Even though, they are a BU8 team, they are proud to have 2 girls, Daniela Chavira and Alyza Eckhardt on the roster.

This summer, the Rebels BU8 team competed in and won the Encinitas Rotary Cup with an amazing 41 goals for and only 1 against. The Rebels BU8 also participated in the Hotspurs USA Tournament and scored 19 goals for with just 2 against. The team is currently in the 'hunt' to win Presidio with 3 wins and 1 loss. The Rebels ave already earned 30 goals for and only only allowed 4 against. Their forwards consist of Moises Bayliss #9, Sahid Curi-Rueda #10, and Gael Quintero#11.

The Midfield players are Daniela Chavira#5 and Luis Enrique Lee#15. The young Rebels team realizes that defense is just as important and the players are impressive to only have let in 9 goals since the team formed back in the Spring. The defense consist of Leonardo Cruz#4, Alyza Eckhardt#6, Angel Jaimes#21 and Hector Molina#8. Goalkeeper, Miguel Curbelo#7 regularly helps on the field as a mid fielder as well as playing keeper.
