Why do you like playing center midfield?

I like this position because I get to play both offense and defense. Also, I love scoring goals. But my favorite thing to do is pass, and on our team I get to pass the ball to some awesome forwards.

What's your most memorable soccer moment?

Winning Blues Cup for the third year in a row with Coach Steveo. Also, scoring a goal with a header on a corner. Well, truth is, it was more of a "facer," but still!

What are some of your accomplishments?

I am most proud of our team accomplisments. We were Blues Cup Champions in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and we were undefeated Presidio League Champion in 2010. Our team also won Surf Thanksgiving Tournament, Pegasus Cup, Tournament of Champions and Rotary Cup. Of my own accomplishments, I scored three goals in a Presidio League game, all with my left foot even though I am a righty. I scored goals in two games were were losing at Blues Cup to help us get through to the finals. And I am very happy because I recently beat my personal record with 46 juggles!

What do you like best about your team?

I love my team because we are cheerful, athletic and a great team. My teammates are so good they help me be a better player. I also love that everyone is friendly and we care about each other.

What do you like best about your coach?

I love Coach Steveo because he is tough with us to help us get better, but at the same time he is really nice and loves us. I have learned so much from him and he always knows how to pump me up!

Raquel is one of the most improved players I have worked with in this country. She has great speed, strength and skill, which makes her a complete player. She is a smart kid and a leader, and as a team captain all the players look up to her.

I have coached Raquel for three years now, during which we have won Blues Cup all three times.
