Soccer News: Oxnard Wave Soccer Association Host its 1st Annual Summer Classic Tournament

During the weekend of June 4th & 5th, the Oxnard Wave Soccer Association held its First Annual Soccer Tournament, the Oxnard Wave Summer Classic held at the Ventura Community Park in Ventura, California.  

A total of 29 teams from Northern and Southern California participated in the two-day Tournament where six teams were crowned Champions.

The Oxnard Wave Soccer's first annual summer tournament allowed each team participating to play two games on Saturday, June 4th and two games on Sunday, June 5th, for a total of 4 games per team.

Jose C. Aldrete, President of the Oxnard Waves says "The tournament was a terrific success thanks to the enormous efforts provided by the Summer Classic Tournament Committee, along with the support of the Oxnard Wave's Board, its teams, and their families who volunteered to help make this soccer event an outstanding experience."
