CLUB SOCCER NEWS: Oceanside Breakers GU11 Black Are Three Time Champions.

Oceanside Breakers GU11 Black won their 3rd championship of the summer at The Dave Shelton Memorial Cup in Escondido.

The 2010 Dave Shelton Memorial Cup was played on August 13 - 15th in Ryan Park, home to the New Year’s Kick Off, the Presidio Cup, the State Cup and the Far West Regionals.  Coach Gino Rossi says about his Oceanside Breakers GU11's "The team played a terrific tournament not allowing a single goal & scoring a total of 12 goals."  

This is a very dynamic team that has been together for several years & are playing their best soccer heading into their Presidio season.  Rossi says "The team will rest this weekend for the opening day ceremonies at Mance Buchanon, they have a scrimmage at Mance on saturday August 28th at 5pm & are off to the La Jolla Labor Day tournament the following week."
