Mexico Wins 2-0 against France

Foul Play: Florent Malouda looks on as team-mate Patrice Evra of France trips Efrain Juarez of Mexico
Javier Hernandez (hidden) of Mexico and teammates celebrate after he scored the opening goal against France..
Javier Hernandez and Cuauhtemoc Blanco entered the World Cup match against France
early in the second half and changed the fate of Mexico.  They combined for two goals, providing their country with a 2-0 win against France.

France's goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was unable to block Hernandez's goal as Mexico's star moved around Lloris and sent the ball into the net. As controversy always exists in the World Cup, there has been speculation that Hernandez's goal should be disqualified as Hernandez was offside on the play.  Some television cameras showed this play as offside but the referee did not call this.

Mexico's second goal was scored by Blanco on a penalty kick in the 78th minute.

France had a few chances but was unable to score.
