San Diego Youth Soccer Spotlight: Lil Puma Players
It was a bittersweet day as the season came to an end for the Lil Pumas Academy. As some move up to the competative scene, others will remain and sharpen their skills to prepare to move up.
Chula Vista Pumas Academy has Lil Puma players ages 3 to 6. These Lil players are always ready to roll as soon as the ball comes their way!
As we had our trophy celebration with pizza, cupcakes and other delicious foods you can see the smile on the Lil players from a distance. As they all sat anxiosly, quietly on the benches with their lil bodies upright, hands on their laps awaiting recognition as the coach called their name. As each Lil Puma was recognized differently for their efforts they shimmered as they all wore a glow stick as the beautiful day came to evening with a moon that glowed upon them. When the coach handed them their trophies it was as if they had won the World Cup!
