Remaining teams for inaugural Guinness International Champions Cup announced

During the broadcast of the 2012-13 UEFA Champions League Final earlier today, the eight clubs that will participate in this summer’s Guinness International Champions Cup were officially revealed.  The tournament, which will be played from July 27-August 7 in Phoenix, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, New York, Miami and one European city, will include the Galaxy as well as Chelsea, AC Milan, Valencia, Everton, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus.

Personal reasons the rationale behind the LA Galaxy dealing Mike Magee to Chicago Fire

CARSON, Calif. – Mike Magee may no longer be a member of the LA Galaxy, but his contributions to the club during their two consecutive MLS Cup titles will not be forgotten.

Magee was dealt to his hometown Chicago Fire in exchange for Robbie Rogers after citing personal concerns as the reason for a return home.  The deal costs the Galaxy their current leading goal scorer with six goals in the MLS Regular Season and a clutch scorer during LA's title runs.
