CARSON, Calif. – A Joao Plata winner in the 80th minute led to a 1-0 defeat for the LA Galaxy in their MLS regular season opener against Real Salt Lake in front of 25,634 at StubHub Center. The defeat was the first time that the Galaxy have dropped a season opener since the 2012 season.

CARSON, Calif. (Friday, February 28, 2014) – The LA Galaxy announced on Friday that the club has signed 31-year-old defender Dan Gargan. Entering his ninth MLS season, Gargan has made a total of 131 appearances, tallying two goals and nine assists since being drafted from Georgetown University in 2005. Per club and league policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
CARSON, Calif. – Samuel’s command of the English language is limited, to say the least. The LA Galaxy forward, a native of Sao Borja, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, knows a few phrases like “Nice to meet you,” “How are you” and “Thank you.” No bad words -- yet.
“I don’t want to learn those,” he said with a grin after training Thursday.

CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, March 5, 2014) – The LA Galaxy announced today that the club has signed forward Robbie Keane to a multi-year contract extension. The Galaxy MVP in 2013, Keane tallied 16 goals and added 11 assists over the course of 23 appearances during the Galaxy’s 2013 MLS campaign.
