LA Galaxy beats DC United at the Home Depot Center

The LA Galaxy defeated DC United 2-1at Home Depot Center stadium in Carson, California on Saturday September 18, 2010. Surrounded by screaming fans, the home team won with two goals scored by LA's favorite, Landon Donovan.  LA Galaxy is on a strong streak with Donovan's find-a-way-to-win mindset.   Donovan's two goals in five minutes proved he is the player to watch and one that can be depended on.

David Beckham was in great form as he made his second appearance in two weeks, trapping the soccer ball with his chest and playing aggressively on the field.  At the rate Beckham is progressing, his on field playing time will be increasing very soon. 

Next week's bi coastal match should be interesting when the LA Galaxy meets the New York Red Bulls at the Home Depot Center on Friday, September 24 at 8 PM.  The match will be on ESPN2 at 8 PM Pacific Time, but better than watching it on TV, come out and cheer for the home team as Southern California rocks soccer.
