Diana Schmid  and her son Dante Schmid came to the Beach Soccer Championship for the first time this year.  Dante Schmid plays for Kodiak SD Soccer Club. This was his team's first time entering the tournament and Diana was so proud to let SN know they won the championships for U8 bracket.   It is always exciting when a team wins a championship!

Schmid says "We all had so much fun watching the kids enjoy themselves. We will be back to defend our title. See you next year." SN congratulates the team and wishes all the players a great season!
