Why do you like playing center midfielder?
As a center midfielder you are able to experience every aspect of soccer. I play more of an attacking center midfield position and I love turning with the ball and running at defenders with the intention of breaking them down. It is a very fun position that I love to play.

What do you like about your team?
I really like the chemistry of our team. We win as a team and we lose as a team. It is a very close knit group of guys that I really enjoy not only playing soccer with, but spending time with. Also, I really enjoy the hard work and dedication of our team. Every player comes out to play and works hard and that directly contributes to the success of our team.
What tournaments or championships has your team won?
Overall, our team has been successful. We have won our state championship five out of six years, placing second the year we lost. In addition, this last summer our team won the Region IV Far West Regional Championship. We went to Nationals and missed out on the final because of goal differential, which put us in third. Despite not getting to the finals, I was really proud of the effort and accomplishments of our team.
Who is your favorite player, and what do you learn from watching professional soccer?
My favorite player is David Silva, who plays for Manchester City. We play similar positions and I enjoy watching him because it teaches me how to play my position better. From watching him I learn how to move without the ball and support the forwards. I also watch how he takes on defenders one-on-one. He is a great player that is constantly showing me how to better my game.
What's your most memorable soccer moment?
My most memorable soccer moment is when my team won our Far West Regional Tournament in Boise, Idaho, this year and went to the National Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.
