Club Soccer Spotlight: Hotspurs GU11 are SoCal Cup Champions
The inaugural 2010 SoCal Cup was held in Oceanside July 10th and 11th, 2010. The Hotspurs Gu11 team participated in the competition and won the championship.

Proud little Hotspurs GU11 are very excited to be SoCal Cup Champions! The Hotspurs girl’s worked their "butt's" off throughout the competition at the So Cal Cup. The Hotspurs played the Oceanside Breakers G11, one of the most physical teams they have ever played. The Hotspurs girls were there to win! The team had to use their speed and skills to overcome the Oceanside team's pure strength and size. It was a fight to the win!

Day 1: Saturday, was a great day of play with the Hotspurs going for 1 win and 1 tie. Day 2: Sunday, was down to the wire - the Hotspurs had to win both games to take the Championship title and that is just what they did. With the superb coaching of Paolo Landini, the G-11 Hotspurs earned the 2010 So Cal Cup title! Congratulations!
