MORE than One Million Strong

America is a SoccerNation.  Soccer has never been more popular in our country, and especially in Southern California.  With the tremendous support of the public, soccer is now recognized as a strong, well respected and beloved sport in the United States.

The US Bid Committee for 2018 or 2022 FIFA World Cup is now ready to host the FIFA delegation for a tour.  The delegation arrives on Labor Day to start their 73 hour fast paced tour of the United States. 

As the Go USA Bid website says "We did it — we've surpassed 1 million supporters for our Bid to host the FIFA World Cup™! That's 1 million Americans proclaiming their passion for the Game. That's 1 million soccer fans wanting the World Cup to come back to the United States. And that's 1 million voices screaming "The Game Is In US!"

Landon Donovan challenged us to gather more than one million signatures — more than one million reasons for the U.S. to host the FIFA World Cup™ — before FIFA announces their decision on December 2.  Many people may have been sent an email about this...but incase you missed it - here is the information!  Sign up and be counted.  Help the US win the FIFA bid for the World Cup.  Let's show the world our passion for the game, our passion for soccer.
