Soccer Fundraiser: SPECIAL Wing Eating Contest
Help our fellow soccermates fight cancer and eat a wing in this fun fundraiser on Saturday, August 21, at Santora’s in Mission Viejo. Help soccer players Katie Hawley GU-11 So. Cal Blues and Bridget “Fiest” GU-14 Carlsbad Lightning Red team and eat a wing or two or more! If you are playing in this Saturday in Mission Viejo at WCFC or the Orange County Classic, you should come by and have a wing!
Time: 5:30pm to 9'ish or later

What: Wings Eating Contest: Nuclear for adults, Mild for kids. This is a timed event - 7 minutes for the kids and 10 minutes for the adults. (I only hope someone takes lots of pictures!)
The “wing eating” portion of the event will run ALL EVENING from 5:30pm to 9:00pm!!!
Who: Everyone: All parents and kids. There will be lots of competitions….
You can create a team of three (3) adults – and see if you are up for the challenge! Not part of a team? No problem. There will also be competitions for single adults as well! Kids can compete by themselves and enter as many times as they want. Each round of competition is only $5 for a kid. $25 for an Adult. $75 for a team.
Competitions will run all night until 9 pm. Winner(s) will be declared at 9:00-9:15pm.
Donation/Cost: 100% of proceeds will go to Katie Hawley and Bridget Feist’s battle vs. cancer and the costs associated with it.
This is a contest fundraiser for Katie Hawley and Bridget Feist, both Cal South players who are fighting cancer.
Beverages: All beverages purchased will also have a percentage donated towards the fundraiser.
A special thank you should go for the 45 lbs. of wings being donated by a special soccer lady who is a member of the socalsoccerforums.com family and who is in food industry.
What else do we need? Everyone to show up. Imagine … working together we can make a difference.
The restaurant, Santora’s, deserves recognition for this wonderful event.
