Youth Soccer News: Entry Level Referee Clinic
|
Johnson Asiedu, Technical Director and founder, San Diego Football Academy is letting all of his SDFA families know about the upcoming referee training and sent this message out and I thought it was a great idea.
Learning is fun at all ages.
Johnson Asiedu wrote "We are pleased to inform you that there will be an entry-level referee training course held on August 20-21st at Hilltop Community Center. If you will be around on these dates, we would encourage you to attend this Referee Clinic. This is a way for young people to earn some money and also to learn more about the rules of the game. In addition, it is also beneficial for parents to gain more understanding of the calls that are made by referees during games. As our season is about to begin, San Diego is short of referees, so it would be much appreciated if those of you who are available on these dates would register for the clinics. Please click on the link below to register."
Education is the best weapon against ignorance. Come learn! Ignorance is the largest cause of poor parental behavior on the sidelines! Who hasn't disagreed with a referee? Calling all arm-chair refs to learn the rules! And this is the perfect way to have your soccer players make money for that new ball or pair of cleats! Thank you Johnson for being so pro active!
