U.S. Soccer agreed to a four-year contract extension with Bob Bradley
U.S. Soccer has agreed on Monday, August 30th, 2010 to a contract extension with U.S. Men's National Team head coach Bob Bradley. The agreement with Bradley, who guided the U.S. team to numerous achievements including finishing in first place in their group at the 2010 FIFA World Cup for the first time in 80 years, will keep him at the helm through the end of 2014.
Just for all of you who may not know...here is an excerpt from Wikipedia: Robert "Bob" Bradley (born March 3, 1958 in Montclair, New Jersey) is the manager of the United States men's national soccer team. Before taking over the national team in December 2006, he previously coached in the American college game and later in Major League Soccer, managing the Chicago Fire, MetroStars, and Chivas USA over nine seasons.
After finishing the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying cycle with more goals than any other team in the world, Bradley will again be at the helm through qualifying and the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
