According to Yan Skwara, President of San Diego Boca FC "Its great to see a local MLS club like Chivas USA come into in town as head coach Martine Vasquez has been improving the squad one day at a time since taking over as head coach. Chivas Guadalajara on the flip side has always been one of the top teams in the Mexican first division so it should be a great match at Petco where pride will be battled on the field between the two sister clubs."
